English Language and Communication in the Workplace

Promoting students’ interest in learning English through extracurricular activities, such as reading and speaking clubs, weekly lectures on various topics, poster presentations, discussion groups, student conferences, and symposia, can increase job opportunities and foster a progressive English-learning environment.

I promoted English courses and language teaching in Papua New Guinea, China, and other countries.
  • In 2004, I taught English and provided ESL learning materials at Pattison English International College in Guangzhou, China.
  • In Huaihua, Hunan Province, China, I conducted English language instruction and teaching in 2003.
  • At Guangdong Best Training Center, I provided business English instruction and training. Guangzhou, China, 2002-05
  • I conducted short courses on workplace communication for government officers, educators, and business people in Papua New Guinea.
  • I wrote and edited promotional handbooks and brochures for short courses, and I prepared teaching materials in Cyprus, Papua New Guinea, and China.
Education and various fields of human endeavor universally recognize the importance of the English language and communication skills. The English language is rapidly expanding globally.
